Bring your bucket and spade, and when the tide goes out there are plenty of rock pools to explore. The beach stretches from Foreness Point to Neptune Tower. Cost: our day trip cost around £55 for two return train tickets, £10 in cab fares as we were short on time, but we wanted to take a look along the coast, and £10 each for a nice lunch.
