A record number of students are preparing for their graduation ceremonies at the University of Chester. MORE than a thousand students will experience an important rite of passage across three of the largest graduation ceremonies the University of Chester has ever held. The next generation of talent from the fields of Arts, Humanities and Social. A total of 12 ceremonies will take place throughout the four days, hailing the achievements of those who studied at the University of Chester and the University Centre Reaseheath. Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chester, Professor Eunice Simmons, is presenting undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and awards to hundreds of students. Last week was one of celebration for the University of Chester as its newest graduates gathered with family, friends, tutors and honorary guests to mark their achievements. During 12 ceremonies, held across four days, hundreds of students from the institution - including University Centre Warrington and University Centre Reaseheath - were applauded as they crossed the stage at the majestic. The University of Chester is one of the few institutions that does not charge for Awards Ceremonies. However, the Dean and Chapter of Chester Cathedral, who kindly allow the University to use the beautiful surrounding of the Cathedral, do lose a considerable income from visitor donations on these occasions.
