Dove Valley Gundogs Club Constitution 1. Name The Club shall be called the "Dove Valley Working Gundog Club". (hereinafter referred to as The Club). 2. Objects The reasons for the existence of the Club are:- a. To promote and encourage the well being and interests of the various Gundog breeds. b. Dove Valley Working Gundog Club. (hereinafter referred to as DVWGC) Health and Safety Policy Revised October 2019. General Policy is to:- Provide knowledge of the Health and Safety requirements which must be followed in order to ensure the well being of everyone involved. Dove Valley Working Gundog Club was formed in 1994 when The Late George Handley from Ashbourne said he thought it was about time we had a Gundog Club based in the Staffordshire and Derbyshire area. In February of that year, sixteen of us got together and The Dove Valley Working Gundog Club was born!

Dove Valley Working Gundog Club have 8 Field Trials planned for the coming season, 4 Spaniel Trials and 4 Retriever Trials. All 8 Trials are now on FTMS and they will be available on our Website. 2019 marks the 25th anniversary for the Dove Valley Gundog Club and to mark the occasion the club are holding a day of gundog and clay shooting events at. The Dove Valley Working Gundog Club welcomed members and friends to a fun day at Doveridge to celebrate its 20th anniversary Refreshments, a bouncy castle and plenty of fun activities ensured there was something for everyone. Dove Valley Working Gundog Club celebrating 20 years and remembering Mr George Handley "the founder" who sadly passed away July 2014. Watch a Video Clip!
