The truck's styling was made by a company near Sandbach, and the vehicle's components were made by Foden and David Brown; however, parts such as the chassis were built at the ERF factories, where final assembly took place.

Harrisons did do China clay with a ERF 240 A series (SEH 602 L) which was a early 240 but i don't think there was any connection with R and O or other companys. at one time as the was the main agent.
