The KSP delta v chart is essential for approximating the delta v required to successfully complete a mission. With a simple glance, it allows you to know the energy cost of each stage of the journey. VA BUILDING STAGE LAUNCH GET DELTA-V FROM THE FORMULA The following equation returns the amount of delta-v per stage. To use this formula, you must know the stage mass with fuel, the mass without fuel and the specific impulse of the engine. ΔV = ln (m0/mf) * Isp * g m0 = Stage mass with fuel. mf = Stage mass without fuel. Is there a Day version for printing? Hhaazzeeyy • 4 yr. ago Here are the light versions of the maps with just the base game and with OPM as well. These have a newer version of the base DV map that i found, so I plan on making dark modes from these updated light versions in the near future. https://github.com/Hhaazzeeyy/ksp_dv_maps Taqwacore

You could cut off the bottom part with kerbin and put it on the right side with a longer line leading to the rest of the original map. 5 hours ago, plague006 said:

The purple orbit is keostationary orbit and the outer black orbit is the Mun's orbit. If you burn 680 m/s prograde at the blue dot, you will be on a keostationary transfer orbit, the green orbit. Then you can do one of two things. A collection of helpful cheat sheets for the game Kerbal Space Program by SQUAD - Releases · Kowgan/ksp_cheat_sheets.. Community Delta-V Maps 2.5.0. 06 Dec 09:44 . And also add the numbers again if you have to retrace your steps.

I love the ∆V map. It's how I was first able to make appropriately sized rockets to travel to different systems, and I still use it for reference. It shows the ∆V for each "step" of the journey, and you can group these "steps" into different stages - ie first stage to almost orbit, second stage to Eve orbit and Gilly encounter, third stage to land at Gilly, take off, and return to Kerbin. update to the question: if I try to achieve orbit at 10K alt after burning straight up to get the apoapsis there it would take a further 400 m/s to achieve it. if I try a 45 degree angle I get the best result, while if I try to go flat near instantly after launch I barely get anywhere. I think at this point I have mis-understood the deltaV map.
