Welcome to the web site for the Stockport & District Parks Vets Bowling League. The League currently consists of 24 clubs and play there matches on a Thursday afternoon in 3 divisions, consisting of 8 players on each team. All the teams play in a Knockout cup, for the Parks Vets President Cup. The Ken Poole pairs Knockout competition is also run. The Stockport Parks Bowling League was the first organised Crown Green Bowling League to be formed in the Stockport area, dating back to 1912. Today there are two divisions, playing on Wednesday evening. Teams are of 8 players in both divisions.
