The Loup of Fintry is a notable waterfall on the river Endrick, located around 2 miles (3 km) to the east of the small village of Fintry, 17 miles (27 km) from Stirling, and 23 miles (37 km) from Glasgow. The total height of the waterfalls is 28.6 m (94 feet), which pales in comparison to some other Scottish waterfalls. The Loup of Fintry waterfall of the River Endrick is situated by Stirling and just two miles from Fintry village. This notable 94ft waterfall is best seen after a prolonged period of rain or snow since the Endrick Water flows over it has largely been diverted to augment Carron Reservoir.
