Clearly the idea behind these flares is to cover up that poke. What these flares don't do is add actual clearance between the edge of the fender and the tire. So my concern would be that the tire might make contact with the top edge.

We will need to remove a total of 4 screws, 1 at the very end of the fender line and 2 at the front (bottom and upper side of the brake duct hole) and 1 above the front screws that connects the extension on the plastic. The bottom screw in the first picture is where we will attach the folded tab. The SS 1LE accounts for less than 10% of Camaro production. Anderson Composites actually did carbon fiber fender flares for the 5th Gen's, but I didn't see anything for our 6th Gen car's. AC's flares were just CF reproductions of the Z/28 flares, they work on any 5th gen, they could easily make something similar for the 6th gen, idk how many.
