Lime Jello, 7UP soda, along with mayo, cream cheese, marshmallows, whipped topping, marshmallows, cherries, pineapple, and pecans create a unique classic creamy salad. Make it in a mold, bundt pan, or 9×13 dish. Retro 7Up Jello Salad Add the softened cream cheese to hot jello and blend together with electric hand mixer until smooth. Stir in 7up. Chill in refrigerator for 1 - 1 1/2 hours to soft set. Remove from refrigerator and fold in cool whip. Stir in drained crushed pineapple. Pour mixture into 3 quart or 9 x 13 baking dish. Chill in refrigerator for 3 hours until firm.
Heat the water to boiling in the microwave or over medium high heat on the stovetop. Once the water is boiling, place it in a large mixing bowl. Dissolve the Jello powder in the boiling water. Stir until dissolved which will take about 2 minutes. Don't skimp on the stirring, even if your arm gets tired. Step one: Heat mini marshmallows on low with 7 up in a small saucepan until melted. Step two: Once heated add jello powder unto the saucepan until dissolved. Step three: Once your jello powder has dissolved pour it above over cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Prepare the Cranberry Jello Layer: Place Jello in a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a saucepan, bring 7-Up and water to a boil. Carefully pour into the baking dish with the Jello. Use a whisk or fork to whisk hot liquid and Jello together until Jello is completely dissolved. Stir in cranberry sauce. Pour into a 9"x13" pan or 10 -12 individual parfait glasses.
