Talk me out of a 4th gen Acura TL. Right now I drive a 2018 fiesta ST, which I want to keep as a summer fun car. I'm looking to purchase something comfortable to put miles on. I used to own a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD, and loved it. It was comfortable, quiet, quick, and had great speakers. I think some people may have gotten unlucky or choose the wrong years. Cars aren't "good" or reliable based on generations, they are good based on year built. Some are more reliable than others. In the 4th generation, the first and fourth years were most reliable.
