#1 Hey everyone, I was at a petshop / aquarium a couple of weeks ago, and in one tank, there were 5 or 6 albino Ghost Knifes. I think they were going for $20 or $25 (about the same price as a normal Black Ghost Knife). They looked pretty cool, their body was a very light golden white colour, with pink patches towards the tail, and pink eyes. South American tribes that lived in the Amazonian jungle believed that the souls of their deceased relatives lived on in Black Ghost Knife Fish, hence why the species became known as 'Ghost Knife Fish'. But, there are also other common names for them now, including Apteronotid eel and The Black Knife.
