Creators should make sure these spells connect to the flavor of the subclass. So, I've been thinking about playing an artificer recently for an upcoming game. Hi all - I have been working on one homebrew subclass for each class for my home game and I've been stuck on Artificer for months now. I'm going to summarize my understanding of the class and its subclasses below, somewhat to help me process my thoughts, but also so that you can see what my understanding of the class is, and think within that frame of mind. Introduction. Artificer subclasses go a long way to determine your role in the party, allowing you to play as a Blaster (artillerist), a Defender or Striker (armorer, battlesmith), or a Support caster (alchemist). Hello (this is my first thread and my first attempt at a homebrew subclass) I've been working on a new artificer subclass that specializes in the use of a large siege engine and I would love to have som feedback. I haven't decided on the PILOT SPELLS and the TOOLS OF THE TRAID feature will grant proficiency with smiths tools. IRON FRAME
