For the most part, these creatures are lacking in intelligence, though their ferocity is impressive. The Beastboss on Squigosaur has a better hitting aura, has a ton of attacks, and hits really hard. This is everything you want in an Ork model and his points have been discounted again (most likely where it needs to be). He can hide behind things, sneak out and punch stuff, and hopefully survive any damage thrown at him.

With the most recent Orks Codex, I have seen that loads of people are saying that the Beastboss on Squigosaur is basically an auto include at this point, and that he's even better than the named character version (Great White Squig) Beast Snaggas live tough lives, their hardy greenskin constitutions pushed to extremes by the dangerous beasts they surround themselves with. As a result, even the lowliest Beast Snagga Boy can take a tremendous amount of punishment before being slain.
