Ryder's Monthly Log Here you can see how there's a month list on the left-hand page and tasks to do on the right-hand page. Since this calendar is flipped sideways, we'll use the 38 (instead of 26) and divide it by 7 days: 38 squares down / 7 days = 5.4. Round 5.4 down to 5. 5x7 = 35. Our calendar will be 35 squares tall in all. We'll have 3 leftover rows (38-35=3) Each box can be up to 5 squares tall. 1. You will notice that most yearly calendars are composed of mini calendars for each month. There is very limited space for notes. Some, however, do not have room for them. I like for my Monthly Log to be a list of dates rather a traditional calendar with squares; I tried both and totally prefer the list.
