Elizabeth Victoria Montgomery (April 15, 1933 - May 18, 1995) [2] was an American actress whose career spanned five decades in film, stage, and television. She portrayed the good witch Samantha Stephens on the popular television series Bewitched, which earned her five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations. Elizabeth spent the better part of her life in conflict with her famous yet overbearing father Robert Montgomery who was considered Hollywood royalty.
