After assembling the walls, it's roomier than what I thought the size of the floor frame made it feel. I did have a friend that I built steel skids for, and he pulled the house almost 3.5 mile down the shoulder of the tar road and about a 1/4 mile onto the ice the driver side skid collapsed as all the steel was wore off the bottom of the tube.. #1 I have a tracked UTV and pull a 3000lb single axel ice house with skis damn near anywhere and want to upgrade to a 4500lb, tandem axel. The guys in MN that sell skis are telling me that it will be too heavy. I would think that if you bought 4 and welded them together so you had 2 on each side that would work? Re: Wheelhouse skis.
