Tue, October 17th 2023, 5:42 AM PDT. Bill Hand. New Bern's Ghostwalk is getting ready to make its annual return. This year marks the New Bern Historical Society's 33rd year putting on the event. Apr 2023. Lady Midnight was our tour guide was a wonderful story teller. We enjoyed the walk around the downtown area, and the ghost stories that went with each stop. I'm glad she had a pointer tool to help point out specific windows, etc. We were able to walk up to many of the buildings, peer inside and take photos.
