I bought it as it sits from the original owner a few years back with the idea the cab could be used to replace the one on the Mustang Mack. It came with a big crate of parts too. Michael Cahill September 26, 2014, 11:01 am Bevan's 1962 Mack H67 is a one-of-a-kind classic. Just 550 H67 Mack trucks were manufactured, and just two these found their way into Australia. One of these was unfortunately written off in an accident, whilst Bevan's H model was given a left hand drive conversion. I finally got the alternator bracket straightened out, installed the radiator, hooked up temporary fuel and air start tank, etc. One question; the fan belts vibrate between the WP and crank pretty heavily at certain RPMs, even though I have them pretty tight. Will worn sheaves cause them to vibra.

Mack's H-Model "Cherry Picker" Cabover By John & Shirley Sponholtz. Willie, Gus and Jack Mack went from building wagons to building trucks in 1902. Their first vehicle was a sight-seeing bus built in Brooklyn, NY. In 1905 the company moved to Allentown, PA and began building trucks that ranged from three to five tons. This 1961 Mack H-63 wrecker (chassis 4635) has been stored indoors for the past decade and appears to have been preserved pretty well as a result. It was last started several years ago and aside from its air starter, no mechanical details are given-hopefully the motor (likely a Mack-made diesel six) still turns freely.
