Are the frames different ,gas tanks ,leaf springs? I know that the sub has more leaves and the front shackle on the suburban is shorter! This lowering combination lowers the truck level measured from ground to fender trims. I'm torn between the stock skinny wheels and deep fat steels. There is no reason you can't have both and change them like a pair of shoes depending on your mood. So heres the breakdown I prefer to use: McGaughy's MCG33153 73-87 2.5″ drop spindles. These work on all 1973-80 GM trucks, Blazers, Jimmys, and Suburbans. Harrison has always wanted to install the early 1973-80 Square body inner fenders in the 1981-87 Square body platform and see what he could gain by doing so.
