Dr. Seuss Goldfish Graphing. I am in love with this activity. It worked so well for teaching counting and graphing. The students were so engaged since we were using goldfish crackers. I gave them each a bowl of crackers that they used to count out the different colors. They then graphed how many of each color they had. I love Dr. Seuss's One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish for its silliness and the way it encourages kids to both rhyme and read.It can also be a fun way to encourage math skills. I'm sharing links to two free Dr. Seuss printables that work well for creating Montessori-inspired math trays for the upcoming Dr. Seuss celebrations on March 2!
