Wondering how common it is for someone to have a star shaped natal
According to Mihas, a castle pattern is actually quite rare—as it's composed of a Grand Trine (3 planets 120º degrees apart) that has two sides punctuated by sextiles (60º apart). She also notes that the configuration may actually be less easy to deal with than we might first assume. Rare Planetary Aspects Another way to identify rare astrology placements is by examining the aspects, or angular relationships, between planets in a birth chart. Some aspects are more common than others, but there are a few that stand out as particularly rare and noteworthy: March 17, 2022 A grand cross, or "grand square," is a rare natal chart aspect that occurs when four planets are separated by 90 degrees—forming a square shape. This cross can be a difficult aspect to bear in your natal chart as you'll do deal with major struggles within yourself. In the very rare case that an aspect is exact, the orb would be 0 degrees and 00 minutes. In this example for Sun conjunct Uranus, the orb is less than one degree- it's zero degrees and 30 minutes which is one-half of a degree, and this is considered a very close orb.

The five major aspects in astrology are conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions. We'll get into what each means later on, but essentially, an aspect represents a relationship between two planets' positions relative to each other (i.e., Sun conjunct Venus). An astrological birth chart can easily have dozens of aspects in it. May 19, 2011 #2 I believe the most common aspects are those with wide orbs..conjunctions, squares, trines and oppositions. However, I've seen many people with "sextile" charts..many planets sextile each other, connected like railroad cars. But I don't know that this is 'common.' Mighty Mars, the planet of aggression, figures strongly in the charts of athletes, who are statistically more likely than non-athletes to have Mars within striking distance of either the Ascendant or the Midheaven.
