Roy Edward Disney KCSG (January 10, 1930 - December 16, 2009 [1]) was an American businessman. He was the longtime senior executive for the Walt Disney Company, which was founded by his uncle, Walt Disney, and his father, Roy O. Disney. His father -- Roy O. Disney -- co-founded the Disney entertainment business with Walt Disney in 1923. Roy E. Disney's 56-year association with the company culminated in 2003 when he stepped down.
