The Ledges is a clothing optional swimming area on Lake Whitingham, in the town of Wilmington VT. It consists of a long stretch of wooded shoreline, about 1/2 mile worth, with multiple large outcroppings of ledge. When the water is lower, there is a sandy flat area too. If you go, obey the most important 3 rules: 1.) Keep the area clean, carry out more than you carried in! 2.) Refrain from overt lewd behavior as this is what gets clothing optional areas shut down. 3.) Be respectful to others (no photography, no loud radios, no leering or sexual remarks, and so on).
