The main gate and most popular gate in kotor to enter the old city, their is 3 of them. This was the gate I entered the city through for the first time as the bus dropped me of at the Port, which is only 100 metres from gate entrance. Gate has significant history to it and has wonderful detail on the gate, A real treat to see while visiting Kotor. The Sea Gate provided the main entrance through the fortified walls and into the old town. It is still the perfect location to start a tour of this pretty historic town. Read more.
