The 95 miles from Old Harry Rocks to Exmouth make up part of the South West Coast Path National Trail, and there are hundreds of miles of connecting footpaths and bridleways, giving a huge variety of possible circular walks, wherever you are on the coast. The Jurassic Coast is located in the area of Dorset, the south coast of England, 2 hours south from Bristol, as you can see on the map below: All the way East from Orcombe Point, Exmouth to Studland Bay in the West, the Jurassic Coast is 100 miles (160km) of incredible beauty.

If you don't have the time to read the details, the highlights of this 2 day Jurassic Coast trip in Dorset include: Jurassic Coast is 2.5 hours by car from London. Book accommodations to stay in Lulworth Cove. Climb to the top of Stair Hole, Jurassic Park. Walk to Durdle Door and plan on 145 steps down & up again. The South West Coast Path starts at Shell Bay, where the chain ferry crosses from the Isle of Purbeck to Poole. The walk follows the coast around Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset for 1008km and includes some stunningly beautiful walking. The Jurassic Coast section is one of the most gorgeous. We divided our trip into three days of walking.
