REVIEWER K. (Kim) van Loon University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands REVIEW RETURNED 25-May-2020 GENERAL COMMENTS I would like to compliment the authors with the design of this monitoring study. As they state in their manuscript; it is extremely important to study new monitoring devices in well pre-planned matter before introduction. Low cardiac output syndrome (LCOS) is a serious complication after cardiac surgery. Despite scientific interest in LCOS, there is no uniform definition used in current research and clinicians cannot properly compare different study findings.
