This petting farm 't Geertje started off in 1948 as a small-scale farm, when the ownders Hein and Mien van Rijn bought the farm on the Geerweg. Thus, Geertje started o ff as a family business. And then in 1982, the kids Wim and Ada t ook over the farm. They have added livestock like cows, pigs, goats, lambs, hens to their farm. Boerderij 't Geertje is a real organic production farm with goats, cows, and pigs. There are many fun activities for kids at this farm. And while young kids will enjoy, seeing, feeding, and petting the animals, adults will appreciate the store selling quality food products, many of them produced using goat milk and cow milk from the farm. At 't Geertje a variety of animals is kept on a small scale: goats, cattle, chickens, pigs and more. Their meat, eggs and dairy are primarily sold in their own farm shop. A farm like 't Geertje, where the animals can walk around on straw and go outside, is not common. What makes 't Geertje extra unique is that some of the calves grow up.
