The art captures the moody,brooding Gothic tone and the plot is a great example of a revenge narrative done well. Savage Sword of Conan is one of the most beautiful comic series ever created. It's worth a look for the artwork alone. Yeah, I remember it being quite fun, and black and white fits the zombie theme. The older Judge Dredd comics are cool, I'll always rep for 2000ad.
