Inis is a game deeply rooted in Celtic history and lore in which players win by being elected King of the Island (Inis). Careful drafting, hand management, bluffing (especially once players understand the importance of passing their turn), good timing, and a precise understanding of the balance of power are the keys to victory. After. Awesome 2p game. I keep hearing that it is better with 2 than I'd ever imagine, really need to try it at 2 at some point, this review was entirely based on about 20 3 and 4 player plays. The Polish version from Portal Games is a normal-sized square box (albeit with ever-so-slightly smaller map tiles). Yeah, art is subjective and all that, but to me the box and card art is like liquid hot magma fire incredible. It's not even my preferred style of art, but considering how many board game art styles fall into the same bland and overused categories it's so nice to see something polished, consistent, themed, and unique.

What is there to discuss? You judge that a fully clothed woman appearing on a cover is shocking because it is, in your opinion, suggestive and has nothing to do with the game. But most cards in Inis have pictures of legendary or mythological men and women in traditional clothes. I don't think this image is in any way different from the others.
