This is a shooting rest I made in about an hour for $5. Step 1: The Build Up. i Used a 28 inch long Rectangle pc of metal tubing for the body. On one end i welded a 4 inch pc Going up. This is the Back support and i also welded two triangle Pcs For extra strength. On the bottom of the back support i pt a 1 inch long nut and a long Bolt to adjust the Back Up and Down. 7) Leave about 1/2 inch of stake exposed at the top, and tighten a cable tie above both top pieces of tubing. Cut off excess tie. 8) Push the pieces of tubing, two O-rings, and bottom tubing sections up against the top cable ties. 9) Apply another pair of cable ties below the two bottom pieces of tubing. The support tubing could be made from 2X2 square tubing or any sized you have handy. Just remember that weight will be a factor.
