The tower used to be located in Boston and was part of the 1845 Fitchburg Railroad Depot, later owned by the Boston and Maine Railroad. The Jenny Lind Tiwer was one of them on our list for this day! It is located on the old Trura Air Force bade. now the highland center! Once you park outside the base .. you must walk in .. down a road , then hike a short distance to get to the tiwer. It is only 70 feet tall. so it doesn't sit above the tree line.
