Answered Good morning need some help please. House built in 50's. Previous owners ripped out cabinet and put dishwasher in. I don't use it. It is only me in the home with pets. I also don't need storage so ideas are needed. Contractor will be replacing the countertop first then whatever I decide he will do afterwards. With the new dishwasher in place, saving us water and electricity, we needed to tackle a few remaining issues: 1. yank out and recycle the dishwasher (we recycle all our appliances, where possible) 2. replace the old dishwasher space with a modern drying rack system, hopefully built-in to the 2' cabinetry space, with nice pull-out shelves.
